                                                                     Falling 

 This is it, this is really it. I'm sitting in a really really small extremely tiny waiting room at the top of a 12m high abseiling tower waiting for Cameron to go down it! Come on, come on I think. Finally after an exscrutiating wait I hear a familiar voice. "Next" announced Kelly. I rapidly stumbled to my feet and I start my climb to the top of the mammoth ladder. I burst in to the fresh, free air at the top of the tower Aaaaaaaaaa, relief at last. I leaned over the side to look at the view... 

Woooow. What a spectacular view. 

 

"Great Isint it"  Exclaimed Kelly. 

 "Yes, definitly."  I gasped 

 "Are you scared of heights?"

 

"No" 

 "Good". 

 She told me how to work the belay device and asked me if I was ready to go. Definitely, I replied though unaware of the danger involved. I lent over the ege. THUMP THUMP THUMP a figure appeared from the little gap in the floor. It was Ants, the abseiling instructor. She waved her charcoal hand at me. Good bye. I lent back, Then it happened... 

 Wow! I said as I slipped like jelly down the side of the tower. Click, wizzzz, clunk. Click, wizzzz chattered the carobeners over and over agan like a stuck record. Wistfily the rope trailed through my vein streaked hand. It started to turn black. I started to enjoy my self. I briskly started to jump and hop as I descended down to the ground.

 I plonked down on the ground with a THUD. Well now I know why it takes sooooo long to get to the bottom. Well done shar whispered as she unclipped me from the jumble of belay and carobeners. Thanks a lot I said under my breath. I have to admit it I did do a great job didn't I. Weooooeeeeooooo screamed the siren. Feed time. all those biscuits and chocolate cake yummy!!! I defiantly deserve these treats after all I have absailed Down a 12m tower haven't I. I'm going to sleep like a log to night.

W.a.l.t set smart goals.

My goal is to be a great leader and to show Kotahitanga in all of my activities and in the cabins. I can achieve this goal by trying my best and not giving up and to help other children to find there activity. 

I no I acheved my first goal because nic said how I was being a ledder in the cave by helping people thrue.

My other goal is to have time mangement and to be responseabel. I can achieve this goal by getting to activitys fast and to be a rollmodel. 

I no I echeved my next goal because we got a prise for looking after our Cabernet and belongings and I got to all of my activitys on time.

I was proud of my self for getting to the top of the absaling tower.

Kelly and annts helped me to get to the top and going to the climbing Jim helped a lot and to work on tecunecs for climbing.

Next Time I think I could get better at absaling tecunece and get really fast at it
