My comment: I think me and my buddy Ethan did pretty well because we got it done quickly and we got everything on the asesmint done.

How to make Ice Cream!!!

Requirements:
What you need
200grams of salt
120 millimetres of milk
Vanilla Essence
Two clip lock bags one big and one small
One kilogram of crushed ice
Two litre ice cream container
20 grams of sugar
Ice cubes
Steps
Step 1. Get a medium snap lock bag and fill half the bag with ice cubes.
Step 2. Add 200g of salt to the bag.
Step 3. Get a small snap lock bag and fill it with 1/2 cup of milk.
Step 4. Then add a tablespoon of sugar.
Step 5. Then put the big bag in the bowl and seal it.
Step 6. Shake and move the bag for about 5/10 minutes

Stap 4.click on the little picture in the bottom right hand coner.
Step 5. Click on the image.
Step 6. Write the title in the title box and then write the tex in the tex box.

My Book trailer - What do you think?
Purpose (Why are we writing)- to persuade people to read my book.
W.A.L.T make a book trailer - Think of a book trailer as something like a movie trailer. It is a short preview designed to get people excited about your book. When designing a book trailer, you should consider the following
Success Criteria:
Persuasive phrase - Words
Good images from the book
Not too long - 1 - 2 1/2 minutes
The music fits the mood of the book - Catchy
Use the main and most interesting parts
Persuasive question? - Will the poison work?
Make sure we don't use the imovie ready made trailers

Cross Country Writing
CLASS FOCUS - Recount writing
Purpose (Why are we writing)- to share our experience of cross country with a wider audience.
WALT record our ideas with more detail
CO CONSTRUCTED SUCCESS CRITERIA - WE WILL KNOW WE HAVE ACHIEVED THIS WHEN...
the events are in order - e.g Beginning, Middle, End
the writing is in the past tense - e.g I ran as fast as I could...
we use time connectives - e.g next, meanwhile, within minutes, soon after, later, etc
we use powerful verbs - e.g running, sprinting, warming up, stretching, fainting etc
we use similes - e.g I ran as fast as a cheetah... the sweat was dripping down my face like a leaky tap.

Cross country
We walked cazily over to the deck and Lined up in our year groups.
My stomach felt like there was a pack of angry bulls trying to get out.
Then we watched as the year 6 girls slowly walked across the field and start there warm ups. After they had done the warm ups they all stared silently as they all looked glumly at the cycle mountain.
The hooter went and then before I new it they were leaving the field. After about 10 minutes the next race went and then the next and then the next. Finally it was the year 5 boys, we were so Nervous and so excited at the same time.
